Jack has joined the New York City office of Center Street Capital Advisors as a Senior Financial Advisor and Managing Director. In this role, he will continue providing clients with complex and comprehensive financial advice with a personal touch that he calls “over-service”.
After graduating Hunter College with honors in 1983, Jack built upon his degree in Economics by earning an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. Again, he graduated with honors in 1985 and wrote his thesis in High-Yield and Distressed Debt. The year 1983 was also important because it is when he married his wife, Shulamith, in Brooklyn, New York.
Jack spent the next 30+ years, through present day, helping to build, manage and preserve wealth for many clients. His philosophy is to take care of people, respect them and be a good listener. This guiding principle has led to a fulfilling career where no two days are alike and Jack’s energy for the business today is as strong as it was on his first day.
When Jack is not working, you may find him playing backgammon or working on a car engine. He once rebuilt the inside of a Toyota Tercel to the point where it reached 270,000 miles! In addition to these hobbies, he and Shulamith have 5 incredible boys (Marc, Michael, Adam, Dani and Robert) of which 4 have chosen to become attorneys.
